French Comedy Festival

Sugar Sammy headlining the French Comedy Festival, the first French-American Festival of Humor in New York. Sugar Sammy has played over 1,400 shows in 28 countries in English, French, Hindi and Punjabi. He has sold 370,000 tickets to his first one-man show in Quebec, for which he was awarded Comedy Show of the Year in 2013 and Comedian of the Year in both 2013 and 2014. At the New York French Comedy Festival, Sugar Sammy will premiere his new show, which will debut in Paris in September 2016. This show is written specifically for French audiences and is performed in the American stand-up tradition: one microphone, no censorship, and a rapid-fire succession of punchy jokes. Sugar Sammy came up in the U.S.  comedy club circuit. You'll discover the vision of an English-speaking Canadian of Indian origin, who has travelled around the world and who is now setting up shop in France. You'll fall for this charismatic provocateur.
